What model gearbox do i need to convert my 200tdi to Auto please

Can i use a 3.9 V8 box and change the bell housing?

Or was it a specific box used in the 200/300 tdi Auto's?!!!!

You need the box from the TDi, it has different valving to the V8 one.

Range Rover Blues:
Yeap, AFAIK the input shaft is different but all the gearchanges will be wrong, it'd be awful.
