I think those would be the easiest to sell to non-Discworld people. Men at Arms would work really well to my mind, as in essence it's a cop thriller.

Ian Richardson would have been superb as Lord Vetinari, but sadly he's no longer with us

Well, Pratchett has always said his mental picture of Vimes is somewhere between Pete Postlethwaite and Clint Eastwood. I think the former might be better than the latter!
