A little diesel goes a long way too. It'll be the next craze if something isn't done to stop it, proabably ban diesel, you now what the Gov't is like.

This is a real eye opener to me - I didn't realise diesel is that slippery! The puzzling part is that real drift racers don't mess around with putting stuff on the track, so why on earth these clowns are doing it I can't imagine. Soapy water is just as effective (used to be used to help slide trailers around in smaller car ferries) and washes off...
Mud is probably more of a problem here - I regularly see sizable lumps on the roads.

Use water with bleach in it at the strip to get the tyres spinning. no where near as effective as diesel though, a road covered in diesel can be awkward ro run on let alone drive!
