I've read in a local paper that there are people putting bread and jam on country roads to get DEER to feed on the road, Then they wait for the deer to be hit by a car. :doh:

We have a similar problem with sheep. When the gritters go out, the sheep all come down and stand on the road to lick the salt off. Ice I can deal with, several kilos of wool less so! :lol:

Seriously though if there is diesel on the road why not close it and light the suff till it burns off...?
