Swivel housing oil.

Range Rover Blues:
That Lucas hub oil is mint, I use it all the time.

James, if you can't get any of the plugs out you can also fill the hub by removing the drive-member (assuming youdon't have ABS) and that way you get one-shot inside the CV joint straight away.

muddyjames:
I do have ABS.

Getting the oil in is dead easy. A spanner and loose a bit of skin off knuckles gets the filer plug undone nicely!! It is the drain plug and level plug that have more rust on than the titanic!!!

I have been told not to put 1 shot in until I am 100% sure that every last drop of ep90 is out otherwise the grease wont work.I could go for the gamble option and drive around until I feel the hub will sieze up (if they do that, I dunno, what does happen if it has no oil in?) or get the rusted drain plug out. either way, at this moment in time I am not putting it to high up on list, but it is high up on would like to get it sorted, by someone else

Range Rover Blues:
IIRC with ABS it's probably important there is some oil in there for the driveshaft bearings which is a roller bearing.
