--- Quote ---for £3600 you can have my 99 mk2 cherry, much better car, anything over £2k for an old one is too much IMHO

I'd love to have your GC but unless you wanna swap it for a disco [-o< it's a no go as i'm still paying for it (personal loan not HP) so I have a motor but no capitol :(

J66P:
I've got a 98 cherry here you could have for £1200, not perfect but still tidy just a couple of little jobs need doing to finish it off.

That GC is way too much money check the bay youll see for yourself

Hmmm, the abs light is on you say.Unless it is an obvious loose connection somewhere or a dirty sensor it could be costly to get it fixed at a dealer (3 hours labour for mine!) and also it is a fail at an mot if the light is on.so in theory it wont pass an mot at the moment ,dealer trying to sell unroadworhy vehicle, if trading standards pay him a visit!!!!worth at least a grand less i'd say.

In fairness the dealer said that it he would put a fresh MOT on it so the ABS light and warped discs would be his problem. All acedemic now as i'm definitley not gonna have it, thanks to everyones advice.

I'm still gonna keep looking for a Grand Cherry though.
