Wheels and tyres?

We have just put one pair of Bfg mt and one pair of kl71's(only 2 in the country hence the Bfg) in 305/70/16 on 8 inch offender alloys onto a standard 110. They work out to be 33.1 tall and 12 inch wide. Makes it look odd. Have yet to get it muddy tho so can't comment on that yet.

Yokohama geolander mt+ is the tread pattern that macho,sahara and amazons are based on. They are not remoulds but are kind of difficult to get hold of in this country.

I have Recip Maxi 3Ds as my offroad set, look like this (about the best pic i have of the tread), they also do a Recip Trial which is basically a copy of mickey thompson baja claws (and a bit like macho's)

Also as i understood it the metric measurements (ie 235/85 r16 etc.) are measured to the carcass and doesn't include tread depth. I know that sounds abit petty but if you have deep treads, 15-20mm, its making a difference. Hence my 235/85r16 recip maxi 3ds which nominally are ~31.7" actually measure closer to 32.5". (also cause of manufacturing inaccuracy!)

It's going to be difficult choosing, found Devon 4x4 do both type of tyres and the cheapest so far but I'm in no hurry, been told to calm down!
BUT
If any one would like to buy 5 off 265/75R16 Macho Greenway done about 1500 miles it might give me a chance, no what I mean!
I've got to try havn't I.
