Totally agree with you which is why I pointed out the excellent Tabor made by Warn for not allot more money!  The limited experience I have had with the cheap winches is exactly that...they are cheap & nasty & often need repairing after 1st dunking.  Personally I buy Warns as they are excellent products & the spares are easily available.  I don't do much off roading but when I do I want my winch to work  :shock: :shock:  :lol:

Yeah its a ploy used everywhere but if anyone bothers to report then ebay usually makes the auction disappear. It is one of there main listing violations.
