Glad you got the film reference! Washed off the top of the 'Irish Ford' by the force and depth of water. I can also report that both drivers, luckily, escaped- wet but unharmed.

They were lucky then, I take it these people cannot read the depth markers :roll:
I had a spin around my beat, the Irish ford was under 5 foot, not to mention the little drop to the river bed, that would be about 7 foot :shock: and the drain was up a good 10 foot :shock:

What is it with these idiots? a lot of the villages round here are surrounded by water, there are a lot of roads closed, There are plenty of longer drier routes to work but the muppets drive through flooded roads passed road closed signs. Then they expect sympathy when they wreck the car.
