My private hell has begun!

The fiesta went in tonight to have some warranty work done on it tomorrow.  Seeing as how i wouldnt have their normal courtesy car, a Ford Ka, they gave me the only other alternative.................................. a Ford Transit Connect!!

I must admit though that the engine in it is spot on, but for some reason the passenger seat is fixed solid so no adjustment possible and the drivers seat doesnt give as much room as they used to!

But hey ho, its free and its a Diesel, just hope i get the Fiesta back soon lol

I had a Transit Connect for 2 weeks (the more powerful diesel one)...it did 26mpg  :shock: ...it went again (& I made a profit)  :lol:

I dont know what the engine size is in this, but its very very good and when the turbo kicks in it dont half go!

I love the tranist vans. Same engines I think possibly. The passenger seat in the old escort vans didnt move either IIRR but the connect one, the base lifts up and tilts forwards to create a desk. At least the royal mail ones do.

In a choice between a Ford KA and a Transit - Transit wins everytime :) Though I am currently biased as along with the 110 Ive got a Merc Sprinter on loan for moving house :) just a shame its not a Vito :( Hey ho cant have everything........

I drive a 54 plate Connect as a Gas Fitter for the local housing company and they are spot on little vans, quick, comfortable and the heater is mega warm  :) :)
