There's the legendary plight of the now-extinct Fugawi Tribe, who lived in the savannahs where the grass grows over five feet high. Unfortunately, the Fugawi's were pygmies who stood no taller than four feet high. So, after the hunt was over, the pygmies would walk home jumping all the while above the grass, "Where the <edit> are we? Where the <edit> are we?"
The first white explorer to find them misheard and thought they were saying 'We are the Fugawi'.....and that is how the tribe got their name.
