Shocks, yes, springs yes-but they will be the wrong rate.

sorry im might be being thick but what is rate

Range Rover Blues:
Spring rate, how much it compresses for a given load.  Defenders are a differnet weight so the springs will be different.  They should fit but won't work very well.
