yeah but i would still have had to replace my suspension!! so maybe difflockers can come when I get the money from the next land rover i break. and usually most of the situations I have been stuck in are because of lack of articulation, shockers at end of range, and springs retaining axle, a little more give with better tyres and i reckon i would have been sorted.

All this condemnation of kinetic ropes please dont forget that when used correctly they do the job fantastically. If you make sure the shackles are on somwhere strong and everone is away from the scene then you cant beat em.
Without kinetics mr stobart might still be at tong now!!! although i doubt it lol.

them x-springs are supposed to be good gear,have a look,your landy sounds like mine was when i first got it,stuff worn out,join the club,talkin of tong, anybody goin on the 3rd feb?we all are!!!!! :dance: :dance:

the damage done was with the rope only, and no shackle.

sorry mate, of course it will snap with a run up like that :shock:
1-2 metres is ample run up... but that was about 5 :shock: :?
no wonder it snapped. no sympathy im afraid :-#

i have one, blinding rope, really useful for the RIGHT situation.
wouildnt be without one because in the right hands they are brill.
