the 2.500litre thing came in around october 2007 might have been earlier, i suspect site out of date, you are suppose to keep a record. more info on a veg forum that the name escapes me. but i will track down .  some info on this site . www.vow2.co.uk

if you heat veg the molecules you speak of are ok, but between 70 and 90 degrees C. i run twin tank also.  start up on derv until warm then switch over i switch back about 3 miles away from home so i dont leave much veg in the pump ready for the next day start

hot engine, hot veg appears to be working fine ive nearly clocked 4k on it.

issues ive seen is when you use exsiting tank the veg cleans all the derv crud out the tank and puts it in your fuel filter, some guy was doing a new filter every week.  ive not yet changed one on mine but i do carry one. other issue is cold morning they struggle to start if too much veg in the system

also lots of debates on heaters to use i use a glow plug inline type thing,www.vow2.co.uk
has a thermostate in it ,  you can get coolant ones etc etc, i also have a change over valve.   all cost me about 140 quid and its payed for its self.

Ive also got a 200tdi defender and wouldnt run it on there, purly for the fact i use the 200tdi disco most days and the defender gets used for offroading , weekend drives and to work now and again,   veg doesnt seem to like to sit around outside
