Blue or black caps ??

  Hi therre, some time ago i replaced the whole dizzy, runs fine, but the "new" one has a black dizzy cap and needs to be replaced now, but i can only seem to buy blue ones ? any diffference ?? (apart from the colour  :lol: )
TD5 with a few Tweaks ;o)
a bit more fuel friendly than the V8

ONLY BUY A GEnuine dizzy cap, you will have problems with an aftermarket one, and they are not that much more expensive, same as leads as well.

i was using the blue ones and they did not last long, so went to landrover stealers and bought a genuine one from there :D

My Dealer supplied me a Blue one, but I learned from a guy on flea-bay that there are different part numbers for the later engines, the 4.2 and serpentine were black and the 3.5s were blue.  3.9s depended on year.
