I'm half tempted to bid myself (mud plugging in your familly transport isn't good for the nerves if you need it next day to go to work in).

The car even comes with it's own trailer- but you'll need another big 4x4 to tow it to play days!

I have to agree with Tim as well. I have an s3 and although I have done abit of fiddling to get it how I want it is great off road especially when you tow out hand bags like Shoguns!

I only have AT tyres on mine and it hasn't got stuck, sorry progress slowed down yet If it is for fun get a petrol it is alot quieter.

They are great fun.

And there's the problem, if it's not road legal it's going to be a pain.  Unless you're serious about competing then go for a roadworthy car, you can even compete in RTV (road tax vehicle).

There's plenty to choose from, see what your mates have, you'll need their help from time-to-time so go with the flow.  Don't blow your whole budget on your first car either, like any S/H car, someone is selling it for a reason, so expect to have to fix things.

A lot of us drive Land Rover products but don't discount other makes, often landies have had a hard life and this makes them problematic compared to a Chelsea tractor that's just as capable but never been put to the test, that's why Pajeros are popular for example.
