advice needed.wheel bearings

<< < (2/3) > >>

Range Rover Blues:
It's quite common for a new bearing to need adjusting if the races weren't seated properly.  A bit of much or something is all it takes.

Be wary if you are forever tightening them up though :? not a good sign.

eugene:
thanks have just done bearing tonight its ok at mo but will keep a check on it
to see if it comes lose again then i will replace it fingers crossed

DEANO3528:
Just don't make the mistake of doing them too tight.
Yoou want to just feel movement, but a 'clonk' is too much.

CNorman:
Hi there,i hope this is a very silly question but obviouslly you have 2 52mm nuts dont you? AND the lock tab that goes between them.

As RRB says it is fairly normal to have some movement after new set.

HTH

J.D.:
