electricbluebadger:
We often get on here and many other forums a 'who is the cheapest for insurance', well I thought Id have a look at this

http://comparethemarket.com

As they seem to be advertising on the TV a lot lately and what a surprise....

my company who Ive always been pleased with are beaten by £100 (down to £147 fully comp incl mods for the defender)

and Caz's would be less than half price £140 compared to last years £290+

Im sure plenty of you have already used this service but if not get on there... I certainly will be as soon as renewals are due in April...

Cheers Steve

I have done this before, and find that when you go to place the insurance with them they always come up with a higher price, seems they give you silly prices just to get your interest.

Yep I got the contact broker on some when i added all my mods but the wifes standard vitara was a simple buy now option which when i looked at was just that. although quite a few brokers had no need to discuss normal mods such as alloy wheels or flared wheelarches the system accepted it...

I had my renewal through at Xmas for my car (VW Passat) insured through Adrian Flux.
I went too www.gocompare.com to check renewal price was favourable.
I was presented with a price from Kwik Fit Insurance £200 cheaper than the renewal sent through by Flux.
Adrian Flux do a price beat guarantee & if you mention you are a member of Mud Club then you will receive a 5-10% discount too  :afro:
I contacted Flux & they beat the Kwik Fit quote by another £25 so all in all I have saved over £225 in about 30mins.
They are also really good on modified vehicles.
NFU are also very good & insure my Landy's at very competitive rates.  :afro:
