glow plugs just help with the staring of the engine cold. mine smokes alot on start up as the vale stem seals are leaking will have to take head of to change them.

to a extent
but my glow plugs aint connected and mine doesnt smoke, just depends on how many times the engine cranks over before firing up
mine starts instantly (1 crank sometimes half) so doesnt smoke as there aint any unburnt derv in the combustion chanmber
id say injector leaking off over night

The £29+vat was for full recon, test & upgrade seals for veg oil use....HERE...excellent service & quick turn around.
