NIVAD:
My abs hasnt worked for sometime - it will give the judder feeling with normal braking- some of the time.

So any ideas to a quick fix or any garages you would recommend?

Could be a sensor not working
That can make the abs kick in occasionally on normal breaking
Tapping the tops of the sensors, lightly with a small hammer can guide them home and cure the problem (only if the sensors arn't broken)

The other thing that can send the ABS haywire is a loose / damaged bearing. Any unusual grinding?

no grinding and just replaced front wheel bearing?

Sorted mine out recently and it was showing loads of faults. Which disco have you got as i can help if it is a 300 tdi version? Mick
