Don't dismiss retail jobs.
Not the highest paid but there always seems to be demand for unskilled workers and English as first language seems to be normal (so no Polish )
My son worked for Wilkinsons, in Leek, when he was a student.
After he's been there 2 years he was paid triple time on a Sunday :-o
He was paid just over minimum wage so that meant 6 hours each week at £15+ per hour - not bad for a student.
This was every week and he then also worked alternate Saturdays on basic rate.

Well I have got Bob Hope then, because I am very poor at spelling ect, but i am good with me hands ;)

Well use your hands to click the spell check button on the computer.
What Silvery Thing is trying to say is make an effort.
If you cannot be bothered to spell check youe application form then it is assumed you cannot be bother to do a good job at work.
May be incorrect in your case but that is how it works.
Good luck in finding a job and if you need to cross the Is and dot the Ts to get it then do it.

I think that someone else needs to use the spellcheck button  ;)

shaun, i have no doubt that your forms are perfect, i think its a bit off that just because we write in slang or conversational english, and we miss out certian letters or full stops, people think you would do that in a job application. i have no doubt with dogged determination and a little bit of luck you will find a perfect job.
Remember "bad spelerz of teh wurldd untie!!"
