on a 4x4 is born he cuts down and re welds the tub from a 110 so it fits on the rangerover chassis.

I think a look at my hybrid would be of use to you, its a shrotened rangy chassis with a S3 lightweight body on top, which is basically a standard 88" unit anyway

If you a capable welder this would not be too dificult, as has already been said, disco/rangy chassis are almost identical
