I really wish I could buy one, but if produced I bet the damn manufacturers would charge double for less functions :(
I don't need a stills or video function.... I have a camera for that :-.
I don't need a web browsing facility.... I have this bloody computer for that ;)
I don't care about the latest fashion.... its a damn phone for heavens sake [-X

Then buy a nokia 1100 or equivalent, about £20 new and they are just very basic small phones!

I like that site  Quite comical :D

I've actually found a couple of phones I wouldn't mind - the Nokia 9000 and the Motorola 1000. Both would still work today...

If you want the free stuff, best go to thelink.co.uk. Reputable (ex-high street) shop that does good deals (usually with Orange) and throw in free stuff.

Don't get a samsung u600..... touch sensitive buttons mean making accidental calls continuously .

I can highly recommend the K800i. I bought mine back in June as a shop damaged ex-display model (there was a slight chip in the case which was so small the guy had to show me where it was) and think it's great. It's got a good camera for those times when you forget to pack the real one and has a really quick Internet connection. I also bought a SE hands-free car kit at the same time and got a deal on the pair for less than £120. The car kit is also brilliant
I'd always had Nokia phones in the past ~ my son works for Orange and gets a new one every 6 months which he then passes on to me ~ but think the K800i is better than the current crop of "N" phones. The only down-side is that the joystick is reputed to be a weak point although mine is okay. I bought the wife a W810i because she didn't like the joystick and that's pretty wicked too, especially if you like to listen to music as it has Sony Walkman software in it
