yep seen that - Hubbys Scania can no longer go into the congestion charge zone (its a 2000 Scania 94d) because it doesnt meet Euro3..mind you hes sooo happy about that as he hates the place - lol

I see no problem with having this sort of exclusion of dirtier vehicles :?

I work to the east of London and from my office I can see the layer of filth that sits a few hundred feet above the ground. Any additional control can only help cities such as London :D

Apart from the fact they are planning to exclude diesel land rovers by 2010 or some such date.

yea but look at it the other way the green zone in cludes lots of horse land so how many new horseboxes do you see in london and do you think sainburys will buy 200 new wagons just to please ken and what about all the small haulage firms in london that run old wagons who can't aford to upgrade  And the list goes on. And if he wants to do it right He will have to buy every council new trucks,fire engines, And what about the army will they have to buy new trucks just for london. Think is a big nail in londons coffin as the haulage firms i know have said that they will not do london as of next year as they can't afford to replace trucks. So the people of london are going to loose out again
