charging time for a remote control landy

strapping young lad:
does anyone have the silver defender made by landrover, the remote control unit was shaped like a games console type, you could open doors, have the engine sound and you had two gears (plus it was 4x4)

ive lost the bits telling you how long to charge the battery for

can anyone help?

:wink:  you know its charged after about 8 hours when its red hot and smelling funny like they all seem to, Then and only then do u get the whole 6.5 minutes of use lol

hehe, it still works even though i havent used it in 4 years!

8hrs huh.. hmm

well on my destructions here for me new landy says first 2 charges will need 8 hours each time to condition the battery so naturally i had it charge for a good hour b4 i had to drive it around the caldesac hhehe
