Had both manuals and autos in Rangies, prefer the auto anyday.

AUTO without a doupt, save manual's for 2 seater sports cars!

iomlr:
i prefer a manual myself, due to more positive engine braking, i personally prefer it. i do enjoy a auto in heavy traffic thou....

Range Rover Blues:
I used to hate autos, I had one in a Capri and it was awful.

But in a Range Rover, well I'm a convert.  So much so that I'm planning to fit Auto into Blue (not getting on with it though).
