I have a forward facing fold up rear seat in mine. It suits my 9 year old just fine.

It is fitted with am inertial real seatbelt but I dont feel qualified enough to say weather or not it would suit a child seat but my guess would be yes.

I have some in my landie and have a car seat in them

I got them from BLRS (i think in birmingham) i will admit i have fitted them slightly different from the instuctions, you are supposed to fit on the edge of the wheek arch with almost no gap between the seats,
but i moved them over so i could get in between.

Reguarding car seats the seats are on the thin side and could do with being 2" wider but a seat will sit on them but its tight.

If i were to do this agian I would be tempted to get a couple of metro seats from the scrappy and make a frame up fit to this

I have fitted 3 point inetia seat belts

If you want any pics just email me
