which head gasket???

il go an have a look now, il get a gasket set just in case anywy il prob need it one day  :lol: the previous owner hardly used it an now im jus like a kid with a big toy so it wouldnt suprise me if it had gone :lol: cheers for that, i would of took it apart 1st otherwise :roll:

Which is reasuring, NOT!

there's a reason why 3 or 4 thicknesses are available, though I'm told the 3 hole (next to thickest) is the most common.

Perhaps this is why so many TDis do so badly on fuel economy :?

If the head has been skimmed then you will lose very little by fitting a 3 hole gasket.

Here's mine when I decided to change it  :oops:  :roll:  :lol:
There was no other damage to the engine...head gas flowed & skimmed though :twisted:

looked between the 3rd an 4th injector an it was the 1 hole gasket, its all ordered up now, thanks again  :D

Quick warning folks.

Some "people" were selling 3-hole gaskets on flea-bay that only had one hole in them, something to do with the tooling :roll:
