Just how much do you want an extreme trekker tread pattern over any tread pattern?

kumho do the KL71 in 33x12.50 or alternatively something like super swampers, they do a 33x13.50 version of the LTB tread.

I have a set of LTBs waiting for the V8, but I need to sort out the wheel arches first before I can test them in anger.

Wide tyres can be a good thing, though the ideal width is very terrain dependant. The same goes for the tread pattern as well.

My mate has that size KL71 on his RR.
Excellent tyre especially on road for something with such open tread. Amazingly quiet and grippy.

Funny i have been just looking at them!
I have been looking to get the best off road tyre i can afford in the size i want, but didnt expect it to be so difficult :shock:  If i find the Simex are out of my price range then the KL 71's may be my next best bet :wink:

After Jakes post i decided to ring Devon 4x4 today and the prices on the website are quite a bit different :shock:

Got myself a set of 33x11.5 r15 jungle trekkas and a set of 10j rims on order!

Xmas present to myself :D  Dont know what SWMBO is gonna say though :?  :?
