Arightpest:
And I thought I was the cynical one tut tut

muddyweb:
hehe... they don't come much more cynical than me ;-)

Heck, I wrote a whole website about it !!

Arightpest:
I hope you are not saying that the powers that be didn’t listen to you. Because you must admit that they are your gods and of the world and the next and they know best in all things and never get any thing wrong? (Mr Blare and Mr Brown Know all things and are never wrong) so I am told I always read the sun. but I didn’t say I buy it the best news is always one day old well its is were I work plus it doesn’t cost anything.

A slightly disillusioned Arightpest

Range Rover Blues:
Have you noticed her arguament's softening, it's now ok for us to go off-road!
Thanks for that Sian, I wouldn't have done it without your permission!

Apparently I'm no safer in my Range Rover than in my Micra!  well having been rear-ended in both by some useless numpty I would beg to differ, and what's this c**p about 4x4s being more likely to kill pedestrians?
It's about time they did their homework, according to 5th gear's Tiff you're actualy safer being hit by my Rangie than by a Eurobox, because the high front spreads the impact over your whole body whereas the nice, safe family car breaks your leg in two whilst catapulting your head into the base of the windscreen giving you fatal head injuries.  All this before throwing you up in the air so it can hit you again as you come back down.  I site this as evedence because no-one else seems bothered to find out what really happens in a pedestrian accident!

Now, according to Cheshire police we are among the safest drivers on the road, partly because of our comanding veiw of the road and perhaps more than a little because we seem to be above average inteligence.  Perhaps this is why the only car on my drive cheaper to insure than the V8 Range Rover is my 1980 Escort 1.3 on a classic policy, and that's because it's laid up!

My car has higher fuel needs, ********!  My car runs on LPG, if I didn't use it it would be burned off anyway, it's a by-product of refining Eurobox fuel, environmentally speaking, my car runs for FREE!

However, when did the truth get in the way of a nice bit of prejudice!
