A traffic cops worst nightmare!

When I first learned to drive in Glasgow about a mile away was the car parks for the Rolls Royce factory. This was a great place to go in the snow to practice handleing skills.

As a result I have no problems driving in snow and avoiding accidents :)

I really think that this should be available for many road users (obviously skid pan as opposed to snow etc) as it would teach them vital skills.

If you look at that 1st video, you have to ask yourself "if many of them had come off their brakes would they still have crashed?"

undoubtedly some would have, but I reckon some would have got out of it!

best trick I was ever told was if you need to get round a corner in snow and you just going forward, put the clutch down. It works and goes round a corner like it isnt on snow.

Until the back steps out! I think this also only works for front wheel drive cars. With the disco I found if I was drifting on snow I just popped the difflock in and it behaved like normal.

chance of snow on xmas day are becoming more likely. Yey :D

i love it in the first video when the (non-caucasian) man bails out, then nearly gets squashed by the van! hahahahah!

we used to meet up in matalan carpark, one particular night it had snowed.. by the end of the night the carpark was like glass! perfectly polished, and impossible to drive over!

.....i find the worst part of snow is the steep decents, as gravity tends to over rule any principles!
