jimny 2 inch lift

(1/3) > >>

Thomas:
just fitted my ome 2 inch lift springs, and need some shocks now.

do you no a good place where i can get some from. i was thinking of pro comps because they are the cheapest???

also i think i should put some wheel spacers on??

thanks tom

jims jimny:
pro-comp  ES1000 will do
and you don't need wheel spacers

glaggs:
lrsoffroad.co.uk do a few bits for Jimny's. You don't need wheel spacers, if you fit 'em the tyres will catch the plastics. Have you disconnected the anti-role bar?

You may feel the need to fit a steering damper or look at some sort of caster correction mod though.

One day it might look like this?

jamesey:
glaggs have you done the weld mod for the castor correction or just fitted the bushes im in dronfield and would like some advise on doing this as mine has had the 2" pro comp lift but now it feels lethal on the road the steering is so twitchy i went on the m1  to huddersfield and by god i pood myself when a lorry overtook me it nearly rolled it over it felt really scarey , ive fitted the pro kit with the es 1000 shocks ive taken the anti roll bar off for better articulation  and dont get me wrong its great off road exept for the crank sensor fault that ive posted on here
just tell me if i have the weld or bush mod done the the front castor arms will it lowwer the car at all cause basiclly your turning the front axel back up 1 degree , sorry for going on but i need to make the jimny safe again

damohick:
glaggs .... how do you find the kl71s? I'm thinking of getting some but dont know anyone with them on anything other than a landrover! also what size are yours?

Cheers

Damo
