I am not religious in the slightest and I find it so hypocritical to celebrate something you don't believe in. I would actually go so far as to say I find it offensive, in that it undermines the whole reason for it and could offend those who do believe. I have great respect for those who have religious beliefs and the way Christmas has become a free for all money maker is disgusting.
If it is treated as a simple family get together, then fine, but that could happen any time of the year.
We will be travelling up to the outlaws over the period, but it is only because I'd not get away with not doing it!

I'm considering complaining about the decorations at work, saying they offend me & infringe my Human Rights not to have to see them!

Isnt that why cards now say SEASONS GREETINGS :? and we have seasonal decorations? :roll:
Oh and do BUDDHISTS etc. still get a Christmas bonus from work?? :?
