Couls have been nasty if you'd booted it! (did that once in an Escort and stripped a couple of teeth)

put it up on the ramp this morning to try n trace the noise from the front,found the panhard rod bush knacked & also the front wheel bearings

thing is,cos of all the noise the tbox was making you couldnt here anythin else anyways
