hi mate i do have to agree with you i am happy with the finished item now but getting hold of an allen key bolt at 9.30pm the night before you need the car can be a little bit tricky :evil:  but at least it is all sorted now

I've got the SOuthdown one, brilliant if heavy.  Yes it rattles a bit when towing but TBH the noseweight of a trailer should keep it quiet.  I find the twin axle car trailer the worst.  I don't worry about the caravn any more, that's what the LSE is for.

But the Southdown style tank guard gets my vote.

I have a Guardian one, I've not fitted it yet but it looks a superb bit of kit and the service from Spence was second to none.

Great piece of kit, well made and solid. It doesn't rattle at all, and is easily strong enough as a recovery point and tow hitch :wink:
