Does anyone know who makes and what it's called - I've heard of some stuff you can put in the engine to do a temporary repair for the headgasket. Trying to help a mate keep his job until after christmas as when the boss finds out he was driving the vehicle and didn't do the daily checks he knows he will be down the road as they say,cheers.

i've heard k seal does the trick worked brilliant on my rad but have heard of people using it to cure head gasket problems but it will really depend on how bad it is

Cheers Carl-as it happens after doing the posting i went and did a google and K Seal is the first thing it came up with and then Bars Leaks. So there might be a hope yet,just got to find somewhere that sells the stuff now. :roll:

Halfrauds Block repairer or a product called Wondaweld, does far more than a temporary job if you follow instructions carefully, Ive run motors for 2 years plus and sold them running fine with no further probs, got a V12 Jag from a ropey six cylinders back onto twelve and a 280ZX from 4 cylinders back to six no problem

Bars leaks will fix radiators but wouldnt use on head gaskets

I have heard the ceramic ones are best for repairing Headgasket probs. I havnt used it myself, but my mate put some in his peugeot diesel about a year ago. And its still ok. :wink:
