I was thinking that, will it fit the PAS mount?

tdci bob:
I broke 3 alternators in a month last year. gonna try not to brake any this year by making a shield for it.

Evilgoat:
Well its soaking in contact cleaner, pully off and diode pack off so I can check bearings. Will repack if need be, then a blast of comformal coating over the back end and work out a way to protect the oputside.

Last three died of:
Regulator pack, brushes went.
Regulator pack melted.
Grumbly bearings leading to it seizing.

Evilgoat:
Its on.

Old one had eaten the brushes again, GRRRR
