its unbelieveable round here, they have left all the 10 wheels round the side of the house alone but they stole the end of the garden tap, on a plus side it did leak
why?

We once had some wally steal a single wheeltrim from our old Citroen XM. Yep, one wheeltrim. Wouldn't suit anything else (pretty distinctive design). Cost us £50 to replace (back when XMs were still being made and ebay hadn't been invented)

--- Quote from: "Spacemud" ---Someone nicked 5 RRC wheels out of our back garden the day after I had sold them on ebay! The dogs barked a few times but I assumed that it was a cat or fox at the time - silly me!

I may be a suspicious guy but the fact that your address is sent to the winner of the eBay auction and they then know where to find just what they need and at 3 in the morning they can get it cheaper than paying the price they won it for.
Not sure what the answer is but it is not a good idea to keep the items you have sold at the address you publish.

Well we once had 7 8ft conifers nicked out of our back garden once - couldn't believe it - and neither could the police

Do you think that that is why they only nicked one - thats all they needed for their XM?
