Got a few vids of it i action over the weekend.

second time its been out and im impressed with its off roadability already and its still running road tyres and just a body lift.

A quick update on the project.

I have now fitted a small centre box in the exhaust with no back box and now sounds as a V8 should. [:)]

Also managed to install a LPG sytem so a lot cheaper running for me now.
Also fitting a 2" lift kit this week and poly bushes.

Really need to get some pics and vids up but just aint got round to it yet...

It really depends on what your comparing to what. A fitted full 90 cage doesn't cost any more than a RRC internal cage fitted (I think there is a hundred quid in it). If you've got a truck cab, then it's slightly cheaper, but generally a 6 point cage is a six point cage.

Fitted, about a grand, doesn't seem to matter to what it was fitted. Which is odd, I know.

What does seem to make the odds is the tubing used and who makes it.

For some daft reason I've spent a lot of time looking for cages recently (Discos, rangies, BMWs (don't ask!) Jaguars, Austins etc etc). We should compare notes.

for example i rang whitbred 90 full external is 650 fitted range rover one came out around the 1200 mark. again ful external and for a bobtail too.... all seem to be around that story when rang round. have you found a cheaper external rrc cage? if so can you let me know pls
