Great set of photos mate, well done, Iv just started again and bought a Canon D40, I’m envious mate, wish I had your “eye†for a shot :? the hardest bit is to be able to “see†the image to take, and you look to be able to do that pretty well 8) Keep playing with the settings and you will only get better results :D

I really like a few of your shots.
The ones of the squirel sitting up, looking up the tree pictures and the carved man/monk are really nice.
Having the kit is a big part of photography, having a good eye for a great picture is bigger.
The shots i mentioned i think you've caught some great moments in time.
Nice lighting (natural, tree covered and a good time of day) are giving those pictures real depth and getting involved in the subject (looking up the tree) is giving the pictures life.
Get to know your equiptment and keep snapping away

Had more to do with SWMBO wanting a bit of exercise to be honest!!!
Nice spot... as an ex piper I even got a chance to try the medieval piupes that weere being demonstrated in the visitors centre... so... good day all round!
