Yep that's where I meant - Chipshop is Tavy Woodlands and was orginally Great Devon Consols which at one point in 1890's had 5 times the arsenic to kill the entire world population!
Derek is a top bloke and I know exactly what you mean about having to buy something everytime you waltz in :)

I've forgotten my Cornish geography due to (sadly) not visiting for a few years (ought to make a point of going back in 2008), but I've been to Margam Park (Plymouth??) a few years ago, if I remember correctly, for the English round of the Grundig.
It was the days of such riders as Tomac, Frischnect & Henrik Djernies both Ritchey), etc.....

Newnham Park, great place, amazing watching Tomac et. al. riding down pipeline.

That's the place. Told you I'd forgotten
We drove down very early on Sunday morning, watched the race & drove home, tehn back to work on Monday morning. Mad!!!

Don't suppose you remember the frame number? I'd be quite interested in knowing a little more about "Ugly", like an approximate age.

RC 169, if I remember correctly.
I think the sequence started at 100, as per the model name
