Help required with a vitara

Like the title says, i've just recently bought a vit and began the strip down 2day ready for some mods and after rippin out the back seats and carpet i found some holes in the boot floor and inner arches around the seat belt mounts

So my question is does anyone know where to get hold of a new boot floor and arches?

has anyone had any experience with doing this or am i just better off cuttin out the crappy bits and weldin in new bits?

Would really be grateful for some good old zuki wisdom

Hi Phil

Had the same problem with mine nearside only though.

We cut all the rotten metal out including seatbelt anchorage point and totally replaced it with new steel passed an mot no probs..

Offside you might have to drop the petrol tank i think fuel filler runs down on the inner wing somewhere..

There is also some little splash guards on the inner wings both sides i chopped mine off they just hide the crap behind them..

try "movac" they do a catolouge of replacement body panels for lots of cars they might do vitara panels

rabbit was showing signs of rust around the seat belt mounts that we just took the seats out and made a new bulk head... so now shes a little tuck :) and i have a boot!
