Alan Cotton:
The headlights on my 200tdi Discovery are crap is there any way I can get a brighter light without damaging the wiring switches ECT thanks Alan

strapping young lad:
have you got the brighter bulbs from www.powerbulbs.com

bought mine from there

40% brighter or something

made a difference though

also

buy spots!

hobbit:
I finished up rewiring up with relays for the headlights and a set of spots with heavier wiring. Then using 90watt bulbs, dont need a man with a torch in front of me now

There are some bulbs also if you dont want to go that way, Xenon bulbs are brighter and have lower power consumption than halogen for example

200TDi headlamps being useless? Surely not?

I got some of the Ring Xenon ones (you'll need H4 bulbs) from here:

http://autobulbsdirect.co.uk/h4_bulbs.htm

Next day delivery, and they chucked in the sidelight bulbs too.  Seems to have made a great difference.

strapping young lad:
you could fit 300 series frontend on it and have the 300 series headlamps

although ive seen a 200 with td5 lights somewhere!
