|Alternator issue

HI, went to Whaddon, wet muddy etc, cleaned car and engine, now battery light comes on for 10 mins on the way to work and on the way home, sometimes longer, sometimes not at all, it does pulse rather than bright on, is it the alternator??

could be or loose belt or something simular.

Ridgeback:
My defender did the same thing and it turned out to be mud inside the bearings making it go stiff then spin free again. When I looked at the belt it was sliping. Just take the belt off and make sure its spinnig free.

It could just be a worn or lose belt.

i was just about to say the same  :lol:
or another cure i found was to tip 2 lt of water over it  while running  :roll:
