I'll admit I've not heard of those :?

Couldn't tell you how much travel the RockShox on mine have, as they're rarely unlocked.
(certainly won't be unlocked tomorrow for the cross at Bingley, which is a 'Cyclists verses Runners' up onto the local Moor & back!!)

My Pace had Bullseye cranks on it, it was a very tough unit, until the splines started to wear on the bottom-bracket axle.
There was also had pressed in bearings, with grease nipples for that, & the head-set: which was a precurser to the Ahead-set/present clamp on stems

I'm an all-the-gear-no-idea type :)

Finally got my Stumpie FSRxc Pro, mostly XT gear, Atomlab Trailpimps, Pace Carbon RC36 Proclass II (with lockout) Fox Float RLC (with lockout) about 100mm front and rear travel. Goes rather better than I can.

Still I don't think I'll ever be better than I was when a lot younger and had less self preservation.  I remember 54mph down a local hill once car I overtook was not impressed... Also remember doing over 35 on an old incline railway track which had plenty of boulders in it on my old Saracen Tufftrax Extreme (the 1985ish team bike it with no suspension -  could withstand almost any amount of abuse, many were turned into trials) I couldn't see a thing as my eyeballs were being shaken too much!

Hill is still local - I'm just not as loco as before even though I reckon I could go faster with the suspension and the extra mass.

Keep meaning to get out, but kiddies and wiffy and lara get in the way

The bike of an old friend of mine has a nice Specialised frameset at its heart
I believe it's this one?

There's still an early 90's Yeti t-shirt hanging around the house, it's in the shoe-polish drawer (it disappeared one day, only to resurface in there)
