disco springs

can anyone tell me the length of a standard dico suspension spring.what i want to know is from top to bottom whilst NOT on a motor.the reason i sak is i have a spare set and want to no if they are lift springs or standard!
your help as usual will be greatly appreciated.

That depends on the spring http://members.shaw.ca/jbarge/springinfo.html lifted springs tend to have thicker coils and are heavier in weight.

cheers for that,anyone know if i can put springs(aftermarket +1inch) off a v8 dico onto a 300tdi disco?will it be a straight swap forward put them on and be fine?

so anyone have any ideas?do all dicos use the same springs(if there the same year)or does the v8 have diffrernt size springs to the diesel?

As I recall when looking for one for my disco they only list 1 kit for all disco's depending on what height you want of course.
