Which battery is better?

(1/2) > >>

Mark_Solesbury:
Ive got 2 types of batteries here..

A 62 570 and a 60 590

Which one is better, or is there not much between them?

clbarclay:
I would assume the 60 is the capacity and the 570/590 is the maximum current.

Its not rearly a significant differance, just means that the 590 could run a 3.5% more powerful starter motor than the 570.

daggie:
not the one tht flat

Range Rover Blues:
One number may just be the type, mine's a 069 for example.

Then there's capacity in amp-hours, though I might expect a little higher and the bigger number might be cold cranking amps which is self-explanitory.

But they could just as easlily be someone lottery numbers

ben_haynes:
62 Amp/Hours 570 CCA (Cold Crank Amps)
60 Amp/Hours 590 CCA (Cold Crank Amps)

there is not much differences between them as they are both strong enough to turn a TDi over.

one of mine is 75 A/H 600 CCA and the other is 60 A/H 590 CCA and they turn the V8 over well fast
