Safari snorkel sealing

Lincs niva:
Ok i had to dismantle my snorkel in order to weld the inner wing's up.

Ive just got around to re-sealing my snorkel up.Now in my opinion ive sealed all the pipes up that should be sealed.

Ive covered the snorkel top to try and stall the engine that should tell me its all sealed i belive. However with the snork top covered the engine just dies slightly it doesnt actually stall will this be ok or do i need to seal everything again

Ok its a zuki vit 1.6 16v..

Cheers Gav

If the engin don't stall air is getting in somewhere, if air is getting in then water will! Does your snorkel then join the original air box? On my Jimny there is a small drain hole in the bottom of the air box. I seal this with a plastic number plate screw and a blob of Silicon.

Lincs niva:
Cheers for the reply mate.Yep it's still attached the the suzuki air box will have a look for any hole's around that area..

Cheers Gav
