near miss

I have just had a very near miss.
shmbo made me bye a pugeot 307 sw sxi.
and wanted me to sell my disco, so to keep the peace I did it like a compleat prat.anywhy to cut a long story short the pug died and eso is back :D and she says he can stay as the pug put her of cars for life.

...although i am surprised, every time i`ve bought a new car before selling the old one, the old one has sulked! resulting in having to sell the new one in favour of the oldone (+repair costs!) :lol: :lol:

My V8 Disco did that too ~ on the day I sold it he started coughing and spluttering when the LPG level went below 3/4 full. :shock:
Then my Xantia wouldn't start when her new (prospective) owner arrived for a test drive. Got the thing going, had a good test drive, haggled over the price, shook hands on the deal, turned the key off ... and the engine kept running. He still took her though :D :D
It's like they know ....

Smart move I'd have said, if anything was going to justify LR ownership then buying that peice of french tat would do it :wink:
