HELP ! DIFF CASING

<< < (2/2)

Evilgoat:
I have a dead front diff from a Santana 1.6 SWB Soft Top.

Its still on the car but I need to change it in the next few days. The diff itself is not happy, pinion bearing has collapsed but the casing is unharmed. You'll have to work out how to get it over to you but once its off its yours for a few beers. I may be persuaded to strip it down if I have time so its only the casing if its not a huge amount of work.

tbh chris
i had this additude with my x-90 i went throu 10 front diffs in 12 months
if you want hassle free front diff steel is the way to go m8
if rich gives you his fubard diff thats kool  but if you have to buy one your most likely lookin @ £40-£50 at most scrappies nower dayz so thats maybe 5 front diffs + time getting them and fitting them
so £200 plus a rob storr solid crush coller (contridiction in terms really) @ £25 ur have a happy front end

as said chris this is just my opinion in the end its all down to funds
